Teaching Philosopy

Our approach is that learning an instrument is much easier when you are having fun. Therefore, instructors incorporate the essentials of music through the interests of the student. Students learn the techniques that make up the foundations of music by playing what they like. Frequently, CDs, iPods or music for upcoming performances is brought to lessons, allowing our instructors to incorporate the musical techniques used in the tracks or songs into what is being taught…and learned.

For those seeking a more structured, traditional approach to music education, our instructors are trained in a number of different instructional methods and your needs can be met fully and easily. Just let us know what your preference is.
